Community

WoodmenLife chapters had another busy month! Our members showed their ongoing commitment to family, community, and country — and they had some fun at the same time.

Did your chapter do a really cool project? We want to hear about it! Upload your photo and tell us all about the project at WoodmenLife.org/Photos. You could see your photo featured here!

Above, Chapter 105 in Highland, IL, shopped for, packaged, and delivered gift bags to residents of a local retirement center — a project the members are excited to do every year.

A woman stands alongside a young boy sitting in a shopping cart. The cart is full of toys and gift wrapping supplies. The pair are standing in a store, and there is a cash register behind them.

For the fourth year, Chapter 179 in Jackson, TN, partnered with Jackson Fire Department Station 5 for Shopping with a Firefighter. The chapter donated funds to the effort, and chapter volunteers helped each child shop for Christmas gifts. Pictured are WoodmenLife member Mary Barnes and Walter.

Three people stand beside the back of a car, which has its trunk open. They are all holding stacks of canned food items.

WoodmenLife Representatives Dana Dyer, Kassie Green, and Josh Ray delivered canned food to a local food bank.

Two men stand together holding a check.

Larry Daniello, President of Chapter 1026 in Rome, NY, presented a $10,000 donation to Gary Mann of the Auburn Rescue Mission.

Four people stand together in front of a Christmas tree. The man on the far left is dressed in a Santa Claus costume, and the man on the far right is wearing a Buddy the Elf costume.

WoodmenLife member Gerald Schack (Santa) and Representative Marc Barone (Elf) brought holiday cheer to Karen Shoemaker and Ariana Perkins at Active Day adult day care.

Four people stand around a collection of donated toys, which include basketballs, inflatable bouncing balls, and dolls.

Members of Chapter 561 in Effingham, IL, shopped for and delivered toys to FISH, an organization that distributed the toys to families in need in the region. Pictured are Molly Bushue with chapter members Doris Probst, Doris Verdeyen, and Joe Verdeyen.

Two adults and three children stand around a collection of toy donations. Behind them is a green, red, and white decorative holiday background.

Chapter Vice President Gregg Schubert and Treasurer Kelsye Janish — with help from Briggs, Kyler, and Ayla — showed off the gifts Chapter 4536 in Industry, TX, collected for the Police Department’s Blue Santa Program.

Six women stand together holding an oversized check. The check is made out to MCC Senior Center in the amount of $10,000.

The WoodmenLife Outreach Foundation in Kentucky West donated $10,000 to the Murray-Calloway County Senior Citizens Center to support its Meals on Wheels program.

Graphic includes two photos. One shows three women standing with shopping carts full of toys. The other photo shows a room full of Toys for Tots-branded boxes filled with toys. In addition, there is a logo in the upper-left that says "Christmas Cheer 2025."

Chapter 860 in Naples, FL, partnered with Toys for Tots® for the Christmas Cheer program, which provides toys to families in need in Collier County. Pictured are Toys for Tots coordinator Sarah Llanes and chapter members Judy Frye and Rebecca Adams.

A group of eight people stand in front of a flag flying on a flag pole. Behind them is a monument, a tall building, and a blue sky.

The WoodmenLife Sales team in Mississippi South presented an American flag at a Veterans Day event in Meridian, MS. The flag was flown at the “Spirit of the American Doughboy” monument in downtown Meridian.

Four people stand together for the photo. They are standing in front of a wall that says "WoodmenLife" — though the picture cuts off the word at "Woodmen." The photo is taken at a tilt.

Chapter 117 in Benton, KY, elected new officers for 2026. Pictured are President Donald Long, Treasurer Kelly Canfield, Secretary Kacie Slack, and Auditor Barry Anderson.

Photo shows people sitting and standing around a communal area of an assisted living facility.

Members of Chapter 58 in Kerrville, TX, delivered care packages to the residents of 220 Harper Assisted Living facility. The chapter members also spent time visiting with the residents.
