15 people are standing together, posing for the photo. They are outdoors, standing in front of a fire truck that says "Effingham Fire Dept." Standing in the front and middle of the group are four women, who are handing over a gift card to one of the firefighters.

WoodmenLife chapters had another busy month! Our members showed their ongoing commitment to family, community, and country — and they had some fun at the same time.

Did your chapter do a really cool project? We want to hear about it! Upload your photo and tell us all about the project at WoodmenLife.org/Photos. You could see your photo featured here!

Above, members with Chapter 561 in Effingham, IL, served dinner to local firefighters to show their appreciation for all they do. The chapter also presented a gift card to the First Responders to purchase smoke detectors for families in need. Pictured are Chapter Vice President Doris Probst, President Vickie Esker, Secretary Gloria Pruemer, and Treasurer Doris Verdeyen with several Effingham firefighters.

Photo shows an oversized American flag being held up in the air by two fire truck ladders. There are clouds in the blue sky behind the flag.

Chapter 308 in Houma, LA, marked Flag Day with a Celebrating Red, White & Blue® event. If you would like to display an oversized flag at your event, complete the form at WoodmenLife.org/Flag-Form.

10 people stand together for the photo -- four women are in the middle and six men, each of whom are wearing navy blue fire department T-shirts, are on either end. Behind the group is a building that says "South Charleston Fire Station No. 5" and the garage door is open so you can see a fire truck parked inside.

Chapter 254 in Charleston, WV, presented a new flagpole and flags to the South Charleston Fire Station No. 5. Pictured are members Lula Cavender, Charla Casey, Sherry Tucker, and Gina Guy with several firefighters.

A woman stands next to a podium with a high school-aged girl. The girl is holding an American History Award plaque. Next to them is a podium that says "FCHS," and behind them is a stage with dark blue curtains.

WoodmenLife Sales Representative Chelsea McManus presented an American History Award to Katie T., an 11th grader at Franklin County High School.

Five people pose around a 5-by-8-foot American flag -- a man and woman are on the sides, and three firefighters are standing on something behind and above the flag. They are standing in a fire truck bay.

In celebration of Flag Day, members Karen and Danny Rose of Chapter 1483 in Hampstead, NC, gave a 5-by-8-foot American flag to Island Creek firefighters William Loud, Gage Robinson, and Joseph Treto.

Four men stand around a charcoal grill that has meat cooking on top. The men are wearing rain coats and hats, and the sky behind them is gray.

Members with Chapter 92 in Princeton, KY, grilled lunch for campers and trooper counselors heading to Trooper Island — something they have done for decades. Pictured are Aaron Akers, Richard Gordon, Chuck Slaton, and Mike Stewart.

A man stands at a table with a WoodmenLife tablecloth. There are flyers and trinkets on the table, as well as two small American flags. A person whose back is to the camera is bending down and looking at the materials on the table.

Financial Representative Justin Price shared the WoodmenLife story at a SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) event at the Pontotoc County Agri-Center.
