Community

WoodmenLife chapters had another busy month! Our members showed their ongoing commitment to family, community, and country — and they had some fun at the same time.

Above, members with Chapter 502 in Conway, SC, provided lunch for Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation. This organization provides in-home care, daily care, and transportation for seniors, young adults, and the disabled throughout South Carolina. The chapter members said, “It was an honor serving pizza and chips to the ladies and gentlemen of Elite.” Pictured are Peggy Jenkins, administrator at Elite, and members Wanda Rabon, Howard Cartrette, and Louise Cartrette.

Five people stand together. Two people in the middle are holding a check, which is a donation to Operation Facelift 2025.

Chapter 3040 in Seguin, TX, donated $2,000 to Operation Facelift 2025. The donation was presented at the American Legion Post 245. On hand for the donation were Gerhard Maske, Don Ingles, Anna Guadarrama, Representative Daniel Gonzales, and Doug Wessels.

An airplane sits in a hangar. Lined up in front of the plane are dozens of children's bicycles. On the ends of the rows of bicycles are a small Christmas tree, a poinsettia, and boxes with the Toys for Tots logo.

Chapter 6023 in Macon, GA, donated $500 to Embraer, an aerospace manufacturer, to help with its efforts to purchase bicycles for Toys for Tots®. The bikes were distributed to local children in need for Christmas.

Chapter 100 in Senatobia, MS, presented Klater Ward with the Safe Driver Award. Ward is a bus driver with the North Panola School District, and he has gone 47 years without an accident.
