WoodmenLife Voted Among Best of Omaha

WoodmenLife is joining an elite group of life/health insurance companies in its hometown. The organization has been designated as among the Best of Omaha.

Omaha Magazine has conducted the Best of Omaha contest for 25 years. Voters may fill in any business name they choose, since the answer fields on the ballot page are blank. Voters aren’t limited or influenced, and the system monitors for vote stuffing and manipulation.

The contest features more than 300 categories. There are about 29,000 unique businesses in the Omaha metropolitan area, so there are a lot of contenders. Yet without any special promotion by WoodmenLife, we came out as a leader of the pack.

“Being selected by our hometown as a 2018 Best of Omaha Winner is a tremendous honor,” said WoodmenLife President & CEO Patrick Dees. “We feel privileged to be held in such high regard. It is a testament to our dedication to Omaha as well as our members nationwide.”

The WoodmenLife family will build on this milestone and find new ways to serve its members and the public.

The nearly 900 chapters across the country make a difference in ways big and small—touching hearts, raising flags, and stocking food pantry shelves. For example, through their National Community Focus of fighting hunger, more than 500,000 pounds of food have been donated to those in need. The chapters have also donated more than 3 million flags to nonprofits to date.
