WoodmenLife Makes Forbes’ List of World’s Best Insurance Companies

It’s a lucky few who get to say they’re among the best in world. That’s what makes WoodmenLife’s inclusion on a list of the World’s Best Insurance Companies so special.

Forbes and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry-ranking provider, announced the prestigious honor in June. What makes the recognition even more notable is that our members had everything to do with it.

The Customer Is Always Right

To create the list, Forbes and Statista surveyed more than 45,000 consumers in 15 countries. WoodmenLife was among the top 145 insurance companies selected by respondents who have held a life insurance policy for more than three years.

Criteria for inclusion included how satisfied customers were and if they’d recommend their current provider to others. Respondents were also asked to rate overall customer service and company transparency. Companies were given a final score, and the highest scores made the list.

To qualify as one of the World’s Best Insurance Companies, an insurance provider had to achieve a minimum score of 70/100, receive a designated number of evaluations and rank among the top performers in its respective country.

We’ve always taken customer satisfaction seriously. In fact, 98% of WoodmenLife members say they consider the service they receive from their Representative at the time of the sale to be “extremely” or “very” helpful, according to the 2023 LIMRA Customer Assurance Program survey.

In 2023, we were also included on the Forbes list of America’s Best Insurance Companies. Much like the list of the World’s Best Insurance Companies, it was created from survey responses by consumers on a range of factors like customer service, financial advice, price/performance ratio, transparency, and damage/benefit ratio.
