WoodmenLife chapters had another busy month! Our members showed their ongoing commitment to family, community, and country — and they had some fun at the same time.

Above, members with Chapter 1571 in Martinez, GA, presented a $2,000 donation to Augusta Locally Grown. The organization leases plots and teaches people how to farm and be self-sustaining. Excess harvested produce is sold at the organization’s Farmers Market.

Chapter 1571 members also donated $750 to SafeHomes Domestic Violence Center. The donation will be used to purchase needed supplies for residents. Chapter 1571 had a busy month! Members donated $400 to and volunteered at Columbia County Cares Food Pantry. They cleaned out a walk-in freezer and assembled tea bags for distribution. Pictured are chapter members Carolyn Clark and Chuck Clark with Columbia County Cares Director Donna Player.

Chapter 635 in Fairfield, IL, donated $414 worth of food to the Frontier Community College food pantry. The pantry supports on-campus students who are away from home. Chapter Secretary Connie Smith delivered the food, which was accepted by students Drake Buffington, Rayonna Ridley, and Riley Roark.

Chapter 860 in Naples, FL, participated in the Stuff the Bus campaign, which was hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. To help welcome children back for another school year, members filled 24 backpacks with supplies for students in elementary school.
