Congratulations to WoodmenLife’s third quarter Make it Count Award winners, Tami Wilson and Eric Sauvage! These two WoodmenLife associates showed incredible ownership and dedication to our members. With their commitment to exceptional customer service, they demonstrated that “Every Member Counts.”

Wilson and Sauvage recognized that a member was the victim of a financial scam and went above and beyond to help keep him from losing more money and possibly his life insurance. They didn’t stop trying to help him – even when he objected, even when state agencies said they couldn’t do anything. Wilson and Sauvage persisted.

WoodmenLife is proud to recognize associates who exhibit such care and compassion for our members. Now, let’s learn a little more about our winners.

Representative Tami Wilson:

Describe your career at WoodmenLife. How long have you been with the organization?

It’s been an honor to work with WoodmenLife as a Representative in southern Georgia since June 2014.

What is your favorite thing about working at WoodmenLife?

My favorite thing about working with such an awesome company is the satisfaction of knowing I have made and can make a difference in someone’s life and in their loved ones’ lives.

How did it feel to receive the third quarter Make it Count Award?

It was a complete shock and definitely an honor to receive this recognition.

Why do you think it’s important to support the idea that “Every Member Counts” in what we do?

It’s about knowing and believing you should always treat everyone as you would want to be treated; and doing what is in the best interest of our members.

What WoodmenLife value do you embrace the most?

Always making sure our members are the priority in everything we do.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren; and when deer season is open, I enjoy spending time in the woods.

Eric Sauvage:

What is your job at WoodmenLife? How long have you worked for the organization?

I work in Legal and Compliance at our headquarters in Omaha, NE, and have been a full-time associate since September 2014. I originally started as an intern (for Law School credit) during the summer of 2012, before working in the Tax Compliance and Claims Departments on various projects.

What is your favorite thing about working at WoodmenLife?

We have a culture that fosters collaboration, ownership and ethics. Management’s door is open, and ideas are always welcomed and considered. It is a great feeling at the end of the day knowing your efforts are appreciated and making a difference somewhere.

How did it feel to receive the third quarter Make it Count Award?

It was very exciting to be recognized! Awards like these go a long way in showing appreciation for associates and their efforts.

Why do you think it’s important to support the idea that “Every Member Counts” in what we do?

Without our members, WoodmenLife cannot continue to make an impact in all the communities we serve. It is imperative that each associate provides each member an exceptional level of service, thereby building trust and loyalty and because it’s the right thing to do.

What WoodmenLife value do you embrace the most?

Relationships. Success at all levels of a career and business are rooted in the quality and depth of the relationships that are created.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I really enjoy playing sports. I organize the WoodmenLife softball and bowling teams, but also play racquetball and basketball in my free time. Additionally, I am currently renovating my house; I spend a lot of time working on the endless list of projects.
